RENTAL FEES
The Community Centre is open to all Fripp Island property owners, free-of-charge, when the event is open to everyone. All island groups and clubs may use the Centre at no charge.
If invitations are issued to a select group of people, then the function becomes private, and a user fee ($250 for non property owners, $175 for property owners) will be imposed along with a $100 refundable cleaning deposit. The fee will be required at the time the reservation is made.
The All Faiths Chapel may be reserved by property owners, their children, grandchildren, or great grandchildren for family affairs for $175.
Non property owners are required to pay $350. "Rain Date" reservations may be made with a non-refundable fee of $100.
REGULATIONS
This list has been developed to help you maintain our facility. Your party/organization should have a representative work with the FICC board for your events. The maximum number of people allowed in either the Center or Chapel is 200. Please take notice and record anything obviously wrong and contact a board member.
COMMUNITY CENTRE
- Have all outside doors unlocked for emergency purposes. All must be RELOCKED when leaving.
- Leave kitchen clean—dishes etc should be cleaned and placed back on shelves, or in drawers, towels or dishcloths must be laundered and returned to kitchen.
- Granite counters must be treated after use of kitchen.
- Any spills on the floor must be cleaned up.
- Do not leave food in refrigerator (except for grape juice.) Do not leave food refuse etc. in kitchen. Garbage bins are located in back of the main meeting room out the back door of the kitchen. Do Not stack garbage bags on top of garbage bins. You will be responsible for any mess made by animals
- Garbage bags are located in the walk in kitchen closet. Please place new ones in cans in place of used ones.
- Do not let coffee pot drip on the carpet. Place on black box located in the walk in closet. A tray underneath is helpful.
- If food or liquids are dropped on carpet clean up before leaving. Carpet cleaning supplies are in the cleaning closet located in the new section.
- Make sure thermostats are set properly.
- Please check bathrooms and turn off lights and fans.
CHAPEL
- No food or liquid is allowed in the chapel.
- Choir chairs may be moved and stacked on the side.
- Altar or lectern may be removed.
- Wedding decorations should be checked with a board member. (drip less candles only, no sticky tape or pins used on end of pews.)
- Make sure thermostats are set properly. (instructions are on the thermostats)
- Make sure safety lock is in place on the left door at the entrance to the chapel. (At top of the door.)
- When placing additional chairs in chapel, place one line of chairs on the outside aisles, not down the centre aisle.
ANY DAMAGE TO FACILITIES OR EQUIPMENT MUST BE REPAID BY USERS. PLEASE LEAVE FICC/CHAPEL AS NICE AS YOU FOUND IT.
